World Migratory Bird Day

Join us at the Acton Community Garden on World Migratory Bird Day and expand our concept of community to include local and migrating songbirds.

Together we will add some bird friendly plants to the garden and talk about how you can make your garden at home more bird friendly. Some plants and seeds will be available for you to take home.

The event will also include a guided bird walk where birder Aaron Keating and nature meditation teacher Chantal Garneau will introduce strategies for connecting with and identifying our winged neighbours.

This event is appropriate for children 9 and up.
