Landscaping for Pollinators: Pollinators in Your Yard

Presented by Credit Valley Conservation, Hungry Hollow SNAP program

Discover Pollinators

This webinar is intended for residents of the Hungry Hollow SNAP community. Check if you live in the neighbourhood using our property look-up map.

Join us for part one of our free two-part webinar series on local pollinators.

Pollinators like butterflies and bees help keep our gardens blooming and food on our plates. Learn about the common and lesser-known pollinators, like eastern tigertail butterflies and tiny metallic sweat bees, that you might find in your community. Find out why they’re so important and steps you can take to help them.

Don’t forget to register for part two to learn about how to create pollinator-friendly yards and gardens with native plants. Learn more.

Pollinator Plant Giveaway

Attendees from the Hungry Hollow SNAP neighbourhood can sign up to receive free native pollinator-friendly plants that CVC staff will deliver and help plant. Check to see if you live in the neighbourhood using our Home Planting Property Look-up Map.
